Casa Gongora is what Casco Viejo is all about. Arts, culture, music, all in a stylish setting. It’s located on Avenida Central and Calle 4, just across from the office of Los Cuatro Tulipanes. And they often have live music on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

When there’s not live music, there’s often great artwork displayed for visitors to see (all free of charge) and on the lucky occasion that you wander in there on a night they’re celebrating something, enjoy it while it lasts. One time, we meandered in and enjoyed great sushi and various tapas. After asking where to pay, we were told it was free. Go figure!
